Entry Form

* If you would like to enter more than one single for a specific genre, please complete separate entry forms for each.

PLEASE READ  before entering the Afri-Indie Music Awards:

Terms and Conditions:

  1. You enter the Afri-Indie Music Awards at your own risk. Only independent artists may enter. If you distribute or licence work through a record label only as opposed to a full signed contract, you may still enter.
  2. Afrikaans and English tracks may be entered.
  3. Only enter original, quality work under Singles Categories. In other words no Cover Songs allowed under Singles Categories. Should an album be entered, it is understood that the album might have one or two reworks of cover songs so in the case of an album one or two cover reworks are allowed.
  4. No refunds will be made, the judges decision is final and no communication will be entered into.
  5. If you would like to enter more than one single for a specific genre, kindly complete separate forms for each song.
  6. Once you have your order number and you have paid, kindly email x2 HI RES marketing photos (with no text or design on) and artwork of your single / album to: info@afri-indie.co.za  or via swisstransfer.com (free and no expiry date) OR email a google drive accessible link. Please do not send via Wetransfer as expiry dates have been shortened a lot on the free version.
  7. Deadline for entering is Monday 01 June 2026, 5pm.
  8. The price is R350.00 per category entered.
  9. The R20 000 cash prize & prize of the production of a cinematic music video by top producer Leon Barnardt will be announced at the red carpet event on Tuesday 25 August 2026, 6pm, Afriforum Theatre, Pretoria. The music video has to be shot in the Gauteng area.
